Manali is situated in northern India in state of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated at 2 hours bus journey from Kullu. Manali is a famous tourist place and favorite honeymoon destination.
Manali is also famous for its historical monuments i.e Hidimba Devi temple which is centuries old.
You can also visit other historical mandirs i.e Hanogi Mata mandir.
In winters you would see a totally new Manali.
In summer season you can enjoy para gliding.
I would suggest you to visit Manali from February to April in summer and from September to November in winter. There are lots of other places you can visit and enjoy in Manali.
