The famous City Palace of Udaipur was built in around mid 16th century by Maharaja Udai Singh second. This palace was built over a period of 400 years approximately and many rulers of Mewar Dynasty contributed for this. This palace was built on the bank of river Pichola. There are different palaces and temples in the vicinity of the City Palace. This palace is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture.
