Zakir Husain college of Delhi is the of the oldest college of Delhi. It was initially established as a Madarsah by Ghaziuddin Firoz Jung in 1780 outside of Ajmeri Gate, and he was a commander of emperor Aurangzeb and father of first nizam of Hydrabad.
