Jaisalmer fort is situated in city of Jaisalmer in the state of Rajasthan. This is situated at a distance of approximately 560 kilometers from Jaipur and approximately 827 kilometers from Delhi via Bikaner. The jaisalmer fort is one of the oldest forts and it was built in around 1155 AD by Rajput Rawal Jaisal on whose name the name of this fort was derived.
