The famous Ramnagar Fort of Varanasi is situated at a distance of approximately 15 kilometers from the railway station of Varanasi. This fort is situated on the bank of river Ganga on the opposite side of Tulsi Ghat. This fort was built in around mid 18th century by Kanshi Naresh Balwant Singh to protect the kingdom from invaders.
There is also a famous museum in the said fort in which various man made and factory made vehicles are stalled which take us back to the magnificent period of royal rule.
