AGRA, RED FORT

Agra RED FORT is a historical fort and it was the main residence of Mughal Emperors till 1638. This fort was mainly built by AKBAR. It is 2.5 kilometers from the great TAJ MAHAL. It was occupied by Britishers in 1857. Following are the pictures of different sides of the RED FORT AGRA.

TAJ MAHAL AGRA, INDIA

Taj Mahal is the symbol of rich heritage and culture of the Indian architecture and it is the masterpiece of beauty. Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan for his most beautiful wife Noorjahan. Taj Mahal is situated at the south bank of Yamuna river. It’s construction was started in 1642 and completed in 1653. Shah Jahan employed 20000 artisans for this marvelous creation and used white ivory marble for this glorious architecture.

Taj Mahal has been declared world heritage site by UNESCO. Taj Mahal was built in that time with the cost of 3.5 crore of rupees. Taj Mahal was built for the rest of souls of Noorjahan and Shah Jahan as tombs of both are housed in Taj Mahal.
